Site Refresh!

Welcome back everyone!

I’m your new Media Chair, D. A new school year is about to start, and there’s been plenty of updates. First off, you can see various small changes to the website. Most of it should look very familiar, but get used to seeing it more. We plan on using it more, so come back often to check the schedules for future events, committee updates, and AAA news.

If there are any questions about the site, don’t hesitate to contact me.

On another note, if you want to help out with the site, definitely contact me.

Again, welcome back, and good luck on the new semester/year!

Dance Marathon!

Hi, it’s Katy Fang, your Philanthropy Chair!

This past Saturday was Dance Marathon!!! This is the event that Philanthropy has been working for this whole semester. It took place in Veale and lasted 12 hours from noon until midnight!! It was so tiring, and 6 hours in, my legs were really starting to hurt! It was fun though; there were lots of performances from different groups like Urban Elementz, Dhamakapella, Speakeasy, and Solstice! We also had our own DJ, Paul Farah, who provided a huge medley of songs that were fun to dance to!

At the end of the 12 hours, we raised $6722.04 for the kids at Rainbow Babies. For everyone who donated money, who bought stuff from our bake sale two weeks ago, who came to Dance Marathon, and who supported DM and Philanthropy in any other way, THANK YOU!!! bigsmile.gif

Potstickers and Tea Night!

Potstickers and Tea Night was a success! We ate over seventeen bags of potstickers and drank about a hundred bags of tea! Lena, Crystal and Raymond took turns cooking us the delicious potstickers! The potstickers were nice and crispy. The dumpling were nice and soft. WONDERFUL smile.gif The hot tea was an added bonus. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy even if it was pouring outside (:

Stay tune for California Roll Night! Come early space is limited!
